About Flo



Hi everyone, I am Flo which is short for Florian. You are probably already asking yourself where I come from… Let’s see if you can guess it before the end of the bio. I will try not to bore you to death with everything I have done and get straight to the point. Growing up I played lots of sports and mostly focused on European Handball which I played for 10 years (national level). That’s how I got my first introduction to strength and conditioning (simply to get better at my sport and dominate the field or at least try to). I had a few great years at uni where I was able to learn so much (that was only the start) and get a few pieces of paper (Bachelor of sport science, Master degree specialised in strength and conditioning, rehabilitation and mental preparation and a few others along the way). Working with Elite athlete was all I wanted until I realised that I didn’t want to put performance before health. I strongly believe that both can coexist but not many pro athletes want to take the time to worry about health and wellbeing or the pressure from the management doesn’t allow for it. That’s what set me up to look at the best way to offer strength and conditioning on a larger scale to people that might not be breaking records but would appreciate the health benefits. I knew that to stay on top of the latest knowledge in sports science, have access to seminars and communicate with a larger community of experts I needed to learn English. That’s what actually led me to Australia. I arrived in Australia in 2014 and haven’t looked back. 

Since setting up base in this amazing part of the world I coached Crossfit in multiple gyms and started my personal training business. I absolutely love sharing my passion and help people feel better physically and/or mentally. I thrive in both groups or one on one. Most of my personal training work is now based around rehab as I work closely with a few allied health professionals to get people back to their full potential. I have as well started to work around mental health barriers which unfortunately are a widely spread issue that needs attention. Because I have the tools, I believe it’s my duty to help. I am looking forward to meeting you all and bringing you a ton of positive energy as well as some new crazy workout practices (for those who are keen to try new things). I believe, life is about learning and experimenting. If you haven’t guessed by now, I was born with a baguette under one arm and some cheese in the other.
